Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport is a second major airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The airport is located in the north of the city and since 2006 is being used as a hub to Nok Air,
NokScoot, Thai AirAsia, Thai AirAsia X and Thai Lion Air low-cost airlines. The airport counts about 40 million passengers a year.
It is open 24/7.
Bangkok Don Mueang Airport Transit
There is only 1 Terminal at this airport, split between Domestic and International parts. The transfers are usually done well, even though it may get quite busy during peak hours.
If your connecting flight has been bought within the same reservation and you are checked in to your final destination, you do not have to leave the transit zone.
Allow about 45 minutes for international transfer and 75 minutes for connecting domestic flight.
The air-conditioned shuttle bus is running through expressway – (the fastest way) Din Daeng Expressway & Don Mueang Tollway
Departures from 5:00 – 8:00, 11:30 – 16:00, 19:30 – 00:00 every half hour.
Departures from 8:00 – 11:00, 16:12 – 19:00 every 12 minutes
Boarding pass/Travel proof for following flight (printed or on phone) and Passport may be required upon check-in

The shuttle bus departs from Terminal 1 of Don Mueang Airport. Follow the signs ”shuttle bus” outside of the 1st floor, at the door 6.
Buses drop off passengers on the departure level of Suvarnabhumi Airport at the 4th Floor, door 5.

The Airport Rail link operates air-conditioned trains daily from 06:00 to 24:00, with commuter City Line trains departing every 10 minutes during peak hours (06:00-09:00 and 16:00-20:00) and 15 minutes off-peak and weekends.
Standard fare for the City Line is between 15–45 baht depending on the distance.
Buy tickets (single way token) in vending machines on the B level, by a currency exchange booths (preferably exchange cash here as good rates apply)
