Muscat Airport Shuttle

There is a bus service No. 1B operating daily on the route from Muscat Airport to Ruwi bus station. Bus calls at 15 bus stops all around the city. See the timetable here.

The service runs from 3:30 – 17:00 in 30 minutes intervals with journey taking approximately 20-30 minutes.

Many hotels and tour operators offer private buses to transport their guests from Muscat Airport directly to their hotels or resorts.

Hotel and tour operators’ representatives’ will be waiting at the arrival lounge for travellers arriving at Muscat Airport, upon baggage reclaim and customs clearance.

Many hotels and tour operators also have information desks and assembly points in the arrival lounge to provide assistance during the trip.

• Taxis are available from Muscat International Airport to all destinations in Muscat or other cities, from the taxi area just outside the main terminal building.
• During the day, the taxi fare from the airport start at
  3 OMRcurrently £6.25
  and each kilometre costs 400 baisa (0.4 OMR) . At night, the fare increases to
  3.6 OMRcurrently £7.50
  and 450 (0.45 OMR) baisa per kilometre.
