The Eastern Airways has just announced a new route which will link Teeside International Airport with London Heathrow for the very first time.
The first flights will commence from 14th September 2020 using 76-seat E-Jet Embraer 170 aircraft. The new route will offer daily connection with London for passengers from Durham, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Teesside and North Yorkshire. It is also a very suitable route for those who travel onward with departures from LHR with major airlines to the world.
The flights from Teeside to Heathrow Terminal 2 are starting from £54.99 including 15kg complimentary hold baggage and 1x10kg (55 x 35 x 20cm) cabin bag in the cheapest fare.
Eastern Airways also offers a network of routes from airports all around the UK such as Aberdeen, Anglesey, Belfast City, Cardiff, Dublin, Humberside, Isle of Man, Leeds Bradford, London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Newquay, Southampton and Teesside.
For some aviation fans, it might be a great opportunity to fly with this airline as they operate (besides a classic jet aircraft) with a turbo-prop fleet such as Jetstream 41, SAAB 2000 or ATR 72-600 (on some routes).
