Lufthansa currently offers discounted return flights from Manchester to Korean Seoul for prices around £80-£180 cheaper compared to other major airlines such as Turkish Airlines, Etihad, British Airways or Air France.
The flights are with a quite short (1h 35mins – 3.5 hours) layover in either Munich or Frankfurt in Germany. The whole journey with the shortest layover then takes just under 15 hours.
As many airlines introduce lighter, low-cost fares, Lufthansa is not an exception. These fares are in Economy class (classed as a Light fare) and include only one carry-on bag up to 8kg. The 23kg check-in bag is optionable and for an additional fee of £55 per person one way. Seat selection (in advance) costs between £10-£28 per standard seat per leg.
