Marsa Alam Airport is a small, well sign-posted airport in the southeast part of Egypt, near the coast of the Red Sea. It is the nearest airport (30 minutes drive) from the world-famous archaeological site The Karnak Temple Complex in Luxor.

It is mainly used by holidaymakers as it is in close proximity of local resorts.
