The fastest way how to get from the Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam (Amsterdam Centraal) is by train. Walk from Arrivals to Schiphol Plaza, where you can take the stairs, escalator or lift down to the platforms.

The journey takes 14-17 minutes with trains departing in very short (3-10mins) intervals. Trains operate 24/7.

There is a bus service line 397 and N97 (night bus) operating from the Airport and Amsterdam city centre. It is the best way how to get directly to popular sights.

Busline 397 operates 24/7, departing every 7 minutes from the B17 bus stop, taking approximately 40 minutes to reach the city centre.

The bus stops at Museumplein, the Rijksmuseum or the Leidseplein.
