Korfu Airport is a small airport at the east of the Corfu island located on a men-built peninsula. It is popular among plane-spotters as it is possible to walk up relatively close to the actual runway.
It is working throughout the whole year, however, with so many tourists coming to Corfu during summer months, the airport can’t cope and long queues are not uncommon.
Transit bus service (line no.15) is provided between the Airport and the city centre of Corfu. At the centre, from the bus stop San Rocco Square, you can go to all destinations. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver.
The line runs between 7:30 – 22:30. The journey takes approx. 20 minutes.
There are also green buses going from a bus station 1.5km from the airport. For detailed information visit their official website.
