The Beijing airport is located 32 km (20 miles) northeast of the city centre, at Chaoyang District, in the suburban district of Shunyi.
Currently, PEK Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports and it is the busiest airport in Asia in terms of total passengers traffic.
There is another airport in Beijing called Beijing Nanyuan Airport, only used by China United Airlines.

Beijing Airport Transit
There is a free shuttle bus connecting all 3 terminals, departing every 15 minutes. Journey to the furthest located terminal 3 takes about 30 minutes.
There is also a free shuttle train to travel among Terminal 3 parts.

Tips: For passengers of incoming international flights with domestic stopovers, the MCT in T3 is 120 minutes.
The fastest way travel to Beijing city from the airport is a high-speed train.
The train departs from Terminal 2 and 3 every 10 minutes between 6:00 and 2:30.
Train’s final destination is Dongzhimen station where you will change to metro line No. 2 to city centre (possible to change onto different lines along the way to different parts of the city centre.)
