Wizz Air Hungary Ltd., more commonly known as Wizz Air, is a low-cost airline based in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in September 2003 and started its operations in May 2004. The airline flies to many cities across Europe, and also to some places in North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. As of 2023, Wizz Air’s main bases are at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport and London Luton Airport, and it operates flights to 194 airports.
Wizz Air has a large fleet of over 130 Airbus aircraft, which includes models like the A320s and A321s. The airline is always adding more planes to its fleet to keep up with its growing operations and to reach more destinations. As of October 2023, Wizz Air has 175 planes in its fleet such as Airbus A320 (200, neo), Airbus A321 (200, neo) and Airbus A330-200.
