LOT Airlines, one of the oldest airlines in the world is the flag carrier of Poland. It is based in Warsaw and operates on around 120 destinations across Europe, Asia and N. America.

Its fleet consits of around 80 Boeing and Embraer aircraft.

Currently, you may fly with LOT from London Heathrow or London City.

The airline is member of Star Alliance.

  • LOT Economy Saver – No checked baggage included, baggage optionable with a discount on 1st piece (costs 25 EUR each way)
    • (Exception on International and domestic flights within Poland): No discount on flights starting LO8XXX and from/to Barcelona, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Larnaca, Nice, Rijeka, Skopje, Split, Tbilisi, Podgorica, Tirana, Varna, Venice, Zadar – 40 EUR each way)
    • Economy Saver baggage fee on Intercontinental flights is 55 EUR
  • 2 pieces in Economy Class (Standart, Flex) on certain intercontinental flights
  • 2 pieces in Premium Economy and Business Class to all destinations except domestic flights in Poland
  • Business Class offers 2x32kg on International flights and 3x32kg on Intercontinental flights

Open 3 hours before scheduled departure time on flights departing from the USA, Canada, China and other long0haul destinations

Open 23 hours before scheduled departure time on flights from Warsaw, Stockholm (ARN), Copenhagen (CPH), Dusseldorf (DUS), Munich (MUC), Frankfurt (FRA) and Geneva (GVA)

 

Closing times depend on the destination, usually 30-45 minutes for domestic and European flights and 60 minutes for all other and long-haul flights.

You can use LOT self check-in kiosks and their baggage drop off counter at some major airports.

Online & Mobile check-in

Open 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Closes 2 hours before scheduled departure.

Online Check-in is not available on flights from/to: Malaga, Alicante, Burgas, Catania, Dubrovnik, Rome, Hamburg, Malta, Ohrid, Olbia, Palma de Mallorca, Rijeka, Rinimi, Skopje, Split, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat, Varna, Zadar, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Kharkiv, Olsztyn-Szymany, Oslo, Groningen, Pula, Beirut, Corfu and Chisinau.

Seat Selection

Free for LOT Business Class, LOT Premium Economy and Miles & More HON Circle and Senator members can choose their preferred seat without any additional charges

  • Seat selection LOT Economy Class in SAVER option costs between 7 – 20 EUR per flight, depending on the destination (domestic/short or long-haul flight) and location of the seat

You can order ‘My Favorite Seat’ up to 36 hours before departure. After that period you will be able to choose a seat at the check-in counter or on lot.com for free, however only from remaining seats available.

Inflight meals

Complimentary meal, with drinks included on long-haul flights (more then 6 hours) in all classes.
Short-haul flights include smaller, lighter meals. Complimentary small snack, water, tea and coffee in Economy Class on short-haul flights.
