Royal Dutch Airlines KLM founded in 1919 is the world’s oldest operating airline with a long history of providing a good flight service.

KLM belongs among higher-cost European airlines, however with some good deals appearing now and then.

KLM airlines with its hub in Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport currently flies to 145 destinations around the world. KLM currently operates multiple Airbus A330, Boeing 737, 747 and 777 in their fleet counting 118 passenger’s carrying aircraft in total.

Travel with children

For a child younger than 2 years of age who will be travelling on your lap, at no additional costs, you may bring:

  • 1 piece of hand baggage with baby care items, weighing max. 12 kg (26 lbs) and with dimensions of max. 55 x 35 x 25 cm (22 x 14 x 10 inch).
  • 1 collapsible buggy (read the extra information below)
  • 1 child car seat

Check-in

Airport check-in

  • For European flights open 2 hours – 45 minutes before the scheduled flight
  • For Intercontinental flights open 3 hours – 60 minutes before the flight
  • Exceptions for Delhi, Lagos, Mexico-City, Moscow, Paramaribo, Osaka, Split apply.

Online & Mobile check-in

  • Open 30 hours – 60 minutes before the scheduled flight (for USA flights 24 – 1 hour)
