Bali Airport Taxis
There are multiple options to get a taxi after your arrival in Bali Denpasar Airport however take extra care which of them you choose as not all might be licensed and might charge you extra high fares.
Do not accept a ride from taxi drivers offering their services after your arrival. Visit a taxi kiosk / office instead and ask for estimated fare to your destination. The final price will be then agreed with the driver.
Official metered Taxi
A more secure and comfortable option is with Blue Bird (light blue coloured cars) official taxi using a meter to calculate your price.
Online Taxi Apps
There are Grab and Go-Jekt apps available to take a taxi in Bali. After selecting your destination you shall see your final price.
We recommend installing the apps into your phone prior to your arrival to Bali.
After arrival, it is also possible to buy a local SIM card. (For instance 200 000IDR (approx. £12 for 10GB data package)
For longer journeys, it is possible to haggle price with Grab app drivers or ask your hotel for a shuttle to pick you up after your arrival (usually from a departure’s 1st floor “Departure drop-off zone”).
