Egypt

The land of powerful pharaohs, great builders or beautiful Cleopatra. One of the driest and warmest countries in the world, where you would only wait in vain for rain, is covered for the most part by an arid desert, in the middle of which the life-giving river Nile winds.
The huge pyramids and the Great Sphinx of Giza, amazing temples such as Karnak or Abu Simbel, countless statues, paintings and scrolls and many other valuable artefacts that are now admired by almost the whole world.
