Tenerife-Norte (North) Airport located near San Cristobal city and 11km from the capital Santa Cruz is the smaller out of two airports on this island. Most of the flights from this airport are to Spain mainland and near Canary islands.
The terminal is small and well sign-posted.
It is open between 5:00 and 23:00. Sleepovers are not possible.
Airlines operating direct flights from the UK (only to Tenerife-Sur (South) Airport): RyanAir, Easyjet, Norwegian, British Airways and Jet2.
Tenerife-Norte (North) Airport is used mainly as a holidaymakers’ final destination, therefore there are no connecting flights at this airport.
There is a Bus Line 102 from the Airport to Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz and other beach destinations at the south of the island.
Buses run between 5:15 – 22:30, departing every 30 minutes (from 7:40 to Santa Cruz).
